God not Pleased

So often in our lives, we find ourselves engaged in relationships and friendships which bring no glory to God.  We spend so much time with a person, until all we desire in life is him or her.  Whatever makes them happy usually makes you happy.  You attempt to buy their love.  You know the relationship is ungodly, but it’s better than being alone.  Right?  Wrong!  While you spend so much time idolizing the person, place, or thing, you ignore the principles of God.  Does this sound like you? Was this ever you?  You thought it was better to disobey God in order to be with this person, go to these places or have these things than it was to trust God for what He had/has for you. Today, I have been commissioned to come and minister to you.  My friend, God is not Pleased with your behavior.  When you place something or someone ahead of God, a change will always occur.  God has never nor will ever come second to anything or anyone. The Bible declares in Exodus 34:14 - For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.  Before you began to date the person you are now with, God was there.  When there was no one who seemed to care for you, God was there.  When circumstances were unbearable, God was there.  He was the friend you always wanted.  The parent you always needed.  God is not pleased!  He is not pleased with being overlooked or cast aside.  The Bible declares in James 1:8 - A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

My brother, my sister, how would you feel if your child, whom you loved and cared for, gave their love to someone else.  God is not pleased!  He’s not pleased with traditional worship services that are more focused on following the programs than obeying the move of the Spirit.  He’s not pleased with denominational separation.  He’s not pleased with ungodly living.  He’s not pleased with outward love but inward hate.  So often, we find ourselves adapting to the ways of the world.  We know better but we do not do better.  We have become comfortable with our ways.  Beloved, today I charge you to live a life that pleases our God. Thought to Remember: Whatever displeases God should always displease you!
